With Halloween over and Thanks Giving right around the corner it is that time of year to start thinking about what gifts to send out to your best clients, friends and family for the upcoming winter holidays.  Times are tough in the corporate world , but now more than ever is the time that you need to let your clients know how much you appreciate their business.  Make a big splash ï»¿ this year and send out your holiday gifts prior to Thanks Giving!  Everyone receives gift baskets throughout the month of December from vendors, friends and family and after a while you lose track of who sent you something.  A great strategy is ï»¿ to be the first one to send out your Christmas gift baskets so that you are able to make a big impression and that way the recipient receives it prior to anyone else’s gifts.

More Than an Apple For The Teacher

The silence of the day stops when the school bus pulls up to the bus stop at the end of the day, and the youngsters jump off the bus ready for their afternoon school snack.  We all know how frantic those hours at the end of the day can be after you have spent the day working and then it is time to start your second job…homework, carpooling for sports, preparing dinner  and of course organizing the house.  It is very easy to get into the mode of feeling sorry for yourself that nobody appreciates the efforts you do at home , but you should remember that that same attitude probably goes for your children’s teachers.   It is not uncommon to focus on your hectic life , and forget that there is someone out there that spends all of the day with your child trying to teach them all of the academics they are going to need for the future.  It is crucial that you don’t forget to  take some time to  show your appreciation to your   child’s teacher for all of the hard work and effort they put forth throughout the school year.  To get the most bang for your buck, do  not wait until the end of the school year to thank them, and to provide them with a token or two of your appreciation throughout the school year so that they know that they are appreciated for all that they do for your child.   It isn\’t necessary to spend a lot of money , but it is the fact that you are letting them know how much you appreciate them.  You will find that the teacher will tend to take extra time to work with your child and provide additional communication about your child’s academics .
